Boatworks Commons was chosen as a Finance & Commerce Top Project of 2016. Construction began in late 2013 on the 85-unit apartment complex including private resident and public spaces, a restaurant, and parking.
At Home Apartments is proud to announce that Boatworks Commons was recognized by Finance & Commerce at a special awards ceremony on July 26, 2017. As part of their 9th annual Top Projects Series, Boatworks Commons was chosen as a Finance & Commerce Top Project of 2016.
Among the more than 115 nominations submitted Boatworks Commons stood out as one of Minnesota’s top construction projects. A special awards presentation was held at the Minneapolis Event Center in N.E. Minneapolis where all recipients of the award were honored. Boatworks Commons was also featured in the Finance & Commerce magazine produced to showcase this year’s honorees.
A beautiful mosaic tile mural representing White Bear Lake decorates the public restroom entryway. The colored tiles depict the depths of the water in the lake. A round red tile indicates where Boatworks Commons is located on the shore.

Meeting a need. There has not been a new multi-housing development in Mendota Heights, Minnesota for 30 years. We are proud to be a part of a new construction project which will include two nearby commercial buildings, ideal for a restaurant, coffee shop, and retail businesses. Inspired by the surrounding community, the yet-to-be-named project will be near slopes of lush green hills and flowing rivers. The apartment building will offer 139 one and two-bedroom apartment homes. Plans are for an opening in the summer of 2018 in Mendota Heights, MN.

We all have the capacity to be good. And, we At Home also want to DO good. One way is to give to those in need. Now through December 15th we are challenging our residents and staff to donate to Second Harvest Heartland.
Today, one in 10 of our neighbors lives with daily hunger. One in six children in Minnesota is at risk of hunger. Seniors and post-secondary students are among the rising numbers of those in need of help.
As a company, we are excited to participate in a Food & Fund Drive supporting Second Harvest Heartland, the Upper Midwest’s largest hunger-relief organization.
There are two ways to participate and donate.
Staff and residents can bring physical donations in to At Home management/leasing offices. Our physical goal is to collect 400 lbs of donations across the entire company.
Go online and make a donation. Our online goal is to raise $2000. Together let's make a difference and DO good.
