``It is passion and involvement that distinguish us in the apartment rental industry. Our business name was Cashill-Spaulding for the first few years. We grew to the point where we became a people-oriented business that needed a name to better represent the team collaboration and involvement. We offer excellent customer care and service. And that makes all the difference.`` - Mike
``In 1992, Mike and I combined our skills in property management and building maintenance to launch this rental apartment business. We started out with two 14-unit turn-of-the-century brownstone buildings on St. Paul’s Grand Avenue and today we have 5,000 units and over 135 employees. The growth has been exciting to experience. Our company has grown from the Twin Cities metro locations to now include St. Cloud, Minnesota and Mission, Kansas as well.`` - Alan
Our Owners: Two local guys. One passion- Apartments. They started with one building and worked from the ground up. They’re not afraid to get dirty; you’ll still find them working on the front lines. Like we said, it’s a passion they take seriously. They’re in it for the long term and we think you’ll agree– it shows.
Our Office Teams: Whether located on-site or down the street, your Management team is ready to assist you—7 days a week. Maintenance Staff: We recognize that dealing with something as sensitive and important to people as their homes means we have to get it done and get it done right… every time.
Property Management: It’s what we do and we do it well! We like to call ourselves the ‘mom and pop shop’ in a company run world. We’re large enough to understand your needs but small enough to know you by name. We employ the best staff of motivated and personable individuals that we can find.
Uh-Oh…Issues: They happen and they don’t just happen between 9 and 5. We offer 24-hour emergency maintenance so when those issues do arise… we’ve got ya covered.
Leading the Charge: We’re not afraid to take a great idea and run with it. We offer smoke free living in 16 of our locations. We think a smoke free environment is a pretty darn good idea.
We’ve taken Green Living to a whole new level: We could really bore you with this list, so here are just a few highlights… boiler regulating controls; low-flow showerheads, faucets and toilets; photo-cell regulated lighting. We spare no green expense when it comes to our aggressive update schedule for adding insulated roofs, thermal pane windows and energy efficient lighting. We warned you it might be boring but this is the stuff that excites us!
Our tagline says it all: “Clean, quiet and well maintained”… pretty simple. But we’re simple folks. We don’t always offer the bells and whistles you might find elsewhere but that’s not who we are. What we don’t offer in amenities we make up for in customer service and attentiveness. To offer a place you can be proud to call home that’s not simply our goal that’s what we stand for.
We continually strive to provide clean, quiet, well-maintained apartments to every resident, while offering excellent customer service and attention to detail, to promote long-term satisfied residents.
We’re on the Grow
At Home Apartments attracts the best property management professionals. We offer many economic benefits combined with a vibrant environment that promotes growth opportunities. Our company will double in size and likely double again. We are looking for motivated individuals who want to learn our business, take advantage of career opportunities, and seek greater challenges and responsibilities.
We’re in the Community
At Home Apartments has more owner involvement in the day-to-day operations than the average apartment management company. This level of involvement combined with our highly qualified staff ensures an exceedingly committed team dedicated to serving our resident’s needs. That dedication includes outreach activities that benefit the Twin Cities metro and beyond.
We’re Near You
We are constantly seeking opportunities in the rental housing market. In the past we have capitalized on the resurgence of city living and the increased popularity of classic turn of the century buildings. We also update 1970s vintage buildings to compete with newer properties. In recent years we built new apartment communities in response to a high level of housing demand and we have expanded into new markets.
